At Allred Farms, it is our mission to contribute to our local community.

To realize our goods and clothing line, we started a small cottage industry employing local mennonite women to sew and help create unique items. We pay our workers a fair living wage so that they can help support their families. They work at home so that they are comfortable and we come together in the shop once a week to form community, share ideas, and support one another.

Denim is a strong reminder that the idea of toughness, independence, love, creativity, hard work, productivity and community may all coexist.

Our denim goods reflect the hard work and dedication of the local farm communities to include the immigrants that work on the farm. We see the connection in everything and reflect that back through the products. It is our hope that you feel this in every single creation.

We are using some recycled denim in our goods along with our own denim that was grown near Ackerly, Texas and woven in North Carolina. The denim that is used is hand selected from worn work wear from West Texas. The quilting is a tip of the hat to Americana with a modern twist. All of the quilting is done by hand and is a reflection of the values of hard working men and women who helped form traditional craft.
